The Framework

Five pillars. One strategy.

GIC College Division programming is organized around five pillars derived directly from what students told us they need. The pillars are mutually reinforcing: Industry Access is the front door, Career Pathways is the development engine, Campus Events bring the community together, Content & Community keeps it connected year-round, and Recruitment & Leadership ensures the pipeline never runs dry.

Pillar I

Industry Access

Direct connection to the people building the gospel music industry.

Industry Access is the front door of GIC College Division. Every other pillar exists to serve and amplify it. This pillar puts students in the same rooms, on the same calls, and in the same conversations as the producers, choir directors, songwriters, executives, and creators shaping gospel music today.

III
Pillar III

Campus Events & Performance

Free or low-cost gospel experiences on or near campus — where students already are.

Campus Events & Performance meets students where they are. By bringing live gospel experiences to or near campus at no or low cost, GIC College Division converts unmet demand into community. Events double as recruitment opportunities, content engines, and stages for member choirs.

Programs

IV
Pillar IV

Content & Community

Our national digital hub for collegiate gospel — led by member voices.

Content & Community builds the national hub collegiate gospel lovers have been missing. Member choirs become creators, member voices become the content engine, and digital platforms become the always-on connective tissue between campuses. Programming is organized around the two content types members said they engage with most: choir performances and faith-based encouragement.
